This beach is a half moon shaped bay mostly comprising of granite rocks, sea shells and round colored pebbles, carrying a history of eons. Flanked with cork trees, it offers a beautiful and unforgettable sight. This place can be accessed by boat or by foot. Although, one has to go through unstable path and rugged terrains, the magnificence of the place attracts a large number of tourists. Afternoon shadow of the large granite peaks and cool Mediterranean breeze offer a unique experience for the visitors.
This beach finds a unique place in the history of tourism due to its natural pools, creeks and countless inlets. The combination of the pink granite rocks and the turquoise blue water of Mediterranean give a magnificent panorama, which is the major attraction of the beach. About 8 kilometers of granite rock, sculptured by wind into magnificent shapes is the most attractive feature of the place. There are summer houses and swimming pools to accommodate large number of tourists, and in peak season the place is crowded with tourists from all parts of the globe.
This beach is famous for its glazing silky sand and crystalline white dunes. Few stone traces of Phoenician city make it a place of historical importance. The beach is frequented by dolphins and flamingos and many seabirds. Bordered by age old junipers, the place exhibits a magnificent sight. The wind is highly favorable for surfing which makes it a surfer’s paradise and gives the feel of nature at its best.
